The role of the President is to act as a
representative and spokesperson of the
Vietnamese Student Association as a whole,
authorize and approve things for the best
interest of the organization, delegate tasks
and responsibilities for all officers, oversee
all organizational activity, and maintain a
relationship with AASU and MAUVSA.

The Vice President of the Vietnamese Student
Association implements and is in charge of the
Big and Little System along with the House
system. The VP also oversees service
oppportunities, connects with other communities
both domestically and internationally, and
provides additional support for the other
officer positions.

The External Vice President is the
representative of Virgina Tech at monthly
MAUVSA meetings with the VSA organizations
from other schools and maintains good relations
with the other schools. He/she attends other
schools' VSA events and also is in charge of
arranging housing/transportation between schools.

The VSA Secretary is in charge of taking attendance for
officers during officer meetings, events and general
meetings. He or she also sends out listserv emails
to those on the mailing list about upcoming events and club
information, take down minutes during the
officer meetings, and update the master
calendar for the officers and for the
general members.

The treasurer keeps track of
cash and debit accounts, maintains a
relationship with budget board in order to
request funding for all cultural events,
keeps an ongoing list of all paid VSA members,
and reimburses officers for any extraneous
VSA-related purchases.

responsibilities of creating (most)
facebook events in a timely manner,
designing VSA@VT promotional media, and
designing culture show promotions
(such as the display case, squires' banner,
pamphlets,poster, etc). He or she must also

AASU Fall Culture Show.

maintaining and updating members with
events and announcements through the VTVSA
app.
